World of Dance first appeared in the year 2017 with stalwarts such as Jennifer Lopez, Ne-Yo, and Derek Hough as the judges. Since then, it's seen lots of talented dancers set the stage on fire. One among them was Michael Dameski, who has since made a name for himself thanks to his incredible performances on that show.
Dameski participated in his first dance competition at the age of six and despite being entirely untrained, had very easily secured his place in the top ten. Following a glorious victory, he has gained training at Glenda Yee School of Dance, located in New South Wales.
When he completed his training, Michael began honing his skills at the Brent Street Studios, where he was given a chance to represent his country, Australia, in the World Championships of Performing Arts where he washed away the competition.
Now 22 years old, Michael is ruling World of Dance with his breathtaking performances; the judges have always had good things to say about him as he got on stage and amazed them as well as the audience.
Michael also appeared in a musical called Billy Elliot: The Musical, after which he shot to fame and on The Ellen DeGeneres show as well.
He has also won the Australian reboot of So You Think You Can Dance, and he's been hailed as the best dancer of Australia since 2014. He's also a part of the Dream Dance Company which was founded by Marko Panzic.
His growing popularity has even made him shift base to LA, California.
Dameski is living proof that if you're born with something, you need to work hard to improve and make a name for yourself in the world. He says he has nobody but his perseverance to thank for his success. Ever since he began dancing, he hasn't stopped, nor does he intend to, as nothing gives him more joy than being on a stage and dancing.
Jennifer Lopez has gone on record and said that she's never seen anybody with skill quite like Michael.
