It really pays to look up sometimes. Get out of your head and your phone, take stock of the world around you. This has been the motto of Italian photographer Manuelo Bececco, that captures stunning photographs of the world above him.

“In the middle of the woods, I seem to see everything in my own way—giant trees or branches that form barriers, irises of the eyes,” Bececco said. “These are things that I only see in my mind and that I can sometimes turn into photographs.”
