Reality is not as obvious and simple as we like to think. Some of the things that we accept as true at face value are notoriously wrong. Scientists and philosophers have made every effort to change our common perceptions of it. The 10 examples below will show you what I mean.
1. Great glaciation.
2. Solipsism.
Don’t you believe me? Think a moment and think of all the possible dreams that you have experienced in your life. Is it not possible that everything around you is nothing but an incredibly intricate dream? But we have people and things around us that we cannot doubt, because we can hear, see, smell, taste and feel them, right? Yes, and no. People who take LSD, for example, say that they can touch the most convincing hallucinations, but we do not claim that their visions are “reality”. Your dreams simulate sensations as well, after all, what you perceive is what different sections of your brain tell you to.
As a result, which parts of existence can we not doubt? None. Not the chicken we ate for dinner or the keyboard beneath our fingers. Each of us can only be sure in his own thoughts.
3. Idealist Philosophy
The idea being that if the stone really only exists in his imagination, he could not have kicked it with his eyes closed. Refutation of Berkeley is hard to understand, especially in these days. He argued that there is an omnipotent and omnipresent God, who sees all and all at once. Realistic, or not?
4. Plato and Logos.
In addition to this stunning statement, Plato, being a monist, said that everything is made of a single substance. Which means (according to him) that diamonds, gold and dog feces all consist of the same basic material, but in a different form, which, with science’s discovery of atoms and molecules, has been proven true to an extent.
5. Presentism.
In other words, today’s breakfast and every word of this article will cease to exist after you have read it, until you open it again. The future is just as imaginary, because time cannot exist before and after it happened, as claimed by St. Augustine.
6. Eternalism.
Thus dinosaurs, World War II and Justin Bieber all exist simultaneously but can only be observed from a specific location. If one takes this view of reality then the future is hopeless and the deterministic free will is illusory.
7. The Brain in a Jar
So, what is the debate? Imagine that you are just a brain in a jar that is run by aliens or mad scientists. How would you know? And can you truly deny the possibility that this is your reality?
This is a modern interpretation of the Cartesian evil demon problem. This thought experiment leads to the same conclusion: we cannot confirm the actual existence of anything except our consciousness. If this seems to sound reminiscent of the movie “The Matrix“, it is only because this idea was part of the very basis of the story. Unfortunately, in reality we have no red pills…
8. The Multiverse Theory
What's the point? In a parallel reality you have already killed the dinosaurs, and you are lying under the ground at a depth of eight feet (because that's what happened there.) In the other you might be a powerful dictator. In another you might never have even been born since your parents never met. Now that’s a memorable image.
9. Fictional Realism.
10. Phenomenalism.

Phenomenalism can prove right only as long as there's no higher being, who perceives everything at the same time, thereby keeping it existing - something like George Berkeley's idealistic philosophy :)
ReplyDeletePhenominalism. smh.
ReplyDeleteReally? Something doesn't exist until we observe it? Yeah, I don't buy it. It's a crock of shit. This planet and the 'Verse has existed well before we humans observed it. Fkn morons.
I guess the dinosaurs didn't exist either way back when we weren't here yet. @@
ReplyDeletePresentism is the only viable explanation of "Time."
ReplyDeleteConsciousness: the parent of all horrors
ReplyDeletehttps://innermusingsandpoems.wordpress.com
Great Glaciatian theory is only a temporary possibility for us and can be avoided by managing how much energy we give our thought. We can actually make a comeback in available energy with exciting things, believe it or not.
ReplyDeleteThe consciousness can manifest reality that is real within the being's sentient system, so much thinner and smaller than the Creator's body that it is considered to be a higher plane of existence, but there it IS real. So think safe thoughts. (Being = Creator + Sentience System (sentient energy in the form of memories))
Kicking a stone doers not disprove Ideaism because it does not necessarily mean that the stone is not in somebody's mind. Not everybody's mind is kept just within their heads for one thing. The stone kicked with closed eyes is in all of our minds when we process it and what you think about does normally manifest in a being. Also, the universe we are in is made of realities that are configured by the same laws as the neuro pathways and synapses that formn reality on a mucvh smaller scale inside our skulls, and lightning is a great model if you are painting paradoxing realities living on a faster speed.
Everything is made of a similar substance. It is a conscious energy made from sentient energy (sunlight) It makes the molecule of the earth.
Presentism is wrong and Eternalism is half wrong. Things do get left in time and they are still where they were if you go back there, but if the future has not happened yet, it does not yet exist in that reality (narrow view). Step out to a broader view and a reality angel can see that you are only six months old in the same lifetime a certain direction, and if you look, on different speeds a model is sometimes built to find out what the future holds in another direction.
Fictional Realism:
Reality is not infinite possessing every possibility until somebody thinks in that direction as a result of hearing a comment like the one referring to infinite realities where superman is real in one of them. things created in thoughts are 4th plane (demon) energy. Thought creates what it thinks about in order to think about. So if anybody thought about even just the concept of Superman being real, then a demon would manifest with the nature of Superman in their sentient system. For this reason it is important to think safe, healthy thoughts, and to turn dangerous thinking into happy endings. You are the Creator in your sentient system.
Parallel universes are the same. If you have a memory, your thought in time paradoxes reality with it's presence "in time", at the point that it is furthest in the past. If things are still unchanged by the time your mind is back on the cusp of now, in other words if you had the same thoughts, a parallel universe would exist and it is common pracvtice to "stick" the two together where and only where they are exactly the same.
If you were to be doing something different in another reality, it would have to be the result of a realm being created from somebody's reality getting intercepted in the past and changed so that it was not a parallel universe. For example, if you passed the winning lottery numbers to yourself, your reality would be different, although it would have a similar molecule of existence most likely. If you try this it helps to listen for your mind's voice that you think in from the right and projecct it to the center where you are and to think to yourself and project the thought "over the wall" to the reality on the left where you will be after we paradox. This makes it easy to conghlomerate reality if we are not simply layering time.
It's just about impossible for nobody to be looking at anything because the angels fill up every space in existence to make time and besides, everything is made out of people, too. Christopherschmistopher.tumblr.com
And nobody gonna comment why Justin Bieber exist? Like mentioned in the post.
