If you didn't see the entrance to this 700-year-old cave in Shropshire, it's totally forgivable. It is actually hard to understand that this is a cave and not just an ordinary rabbit hole.
It's basically a tunnel that unearths many untouched caves that were used by Knights Templars' followers. If you haven't heard of Knight Templars, please note that they used to be a medieval religious order which fought in the Crusades.
The stunning caves are hidden less than a meter beneath a farmer’s field.
Photographer Michael Scott, from Birmingham, began searching the historical wonder after watching a video of it on the Internet.

The photographer said: "I traipsed over a field to discover it. However, unless you knew it was there, you would just walk right past it... Thinking how long it’s been there it’s in perfect condition; it’s like an underground temple."

Nevertheless, Michael added that the cave was quite cramped – so very tall people would have to bend down to fit in.
