One of the first things men are anxious about after learning their women are pregnant is whether their penis will hurt the baby during intercourse. This might be a bit too much self-confidence on the men’s part, but still, it’s a fair question.
In reality, during sex, the penis doesn't go into the uterus. Moreover, the baby is nicely protected in its amniotic fluid and the cervix. As long as a woman has a healthy pregnancy, there's no reason to stop enjoying sex.
As the months go by and the pregnant woman's belly grows, both partners will need to be creative and even flexible during sex. That can only just add to the joy of lovemaking. In fact, pregnant women tend to have higher estrogen and progesterone levels, something that boosts their libido. There are many positive benefits of getting hot underneath the covers with the mother-to-be.
Here are some:
1) Lowering blood pressure.
Oxytocin, the hormone of happiness is released during sex. It will help the future mother relieve stress, tension, all while reducing blood pressure.
2) Increase in hormone levels.
Estrogen, progesterone, and prolactin presence means a pregnant woman is more sensitive and lubricated in the vagina. The release of these hormones also reduces pain and increases pleasure sensory.
3) Sex makes you happy.
Orgasms release good endorphins. This means the baby and the mom will be happy and relaxed. A study proves that couple who had intercourse while pregnant were happier together for four months and even three years after the baby came.
4) Pelvic floor muscles improve.
The pelvic floor muscles need to be strong especially during labor. They're important for bladder and bowel function. Orgasms during pregnancy, strengthen the pelvic floor for childbirth and postpartum recovery.
5) Reduce stress.
It’s exciting anticipating to welcome a baby into our world. That comes, of course, with a lot of preparing and worrying. Sex releases oxytocin which helps with stress and anxiety.
6) Sleep better.
Sex is fun, but it can also be tiring for a pregnant woman. That means she'll sleep like a baby after a hot and steamy sex session.
7) Intimacy.
The release of oxytocin can also contribute to the feeling of intimacy between the two partners.
8) Increased pain threshold.
Studies have shown that genital stimulation releases endorphins which increase a woman’s pain threshold. That will be helpful during labor.
I grew up with a distorted self-esteem which eventually stood in mine and my husband’s way for years. He gladly picked it up and used it to his advantage. Only a person that has endured marital affair will understand how hard it was to cope with his unfaithful behavior that pierced a dagger through my heart and slowly pulled it back out.
ReplyDeleteYears after going to a hypnotist and so many therapists to see if that would help, dr. wakina at dr.wakinalovetemple@gmail.com demonstrated his competence as one gentleman who rendered the help I needed in four days. His abilities made me realize that I have been wasting my precious time undergoing therapy and coming out feeling no difference for a situation that can only be solved spiritually.
My wait on the day in which he holds me in his arms again was over after an authentic love spell that sanitized my marriage for good and boosted my self-esteem.
