Japanese artist Akie Nakata (known as Akie) turns stones and rocks he has found into adorable animal paintings that you can hold in the palm of your hand. Akie, inspired by the natural shape of each stone she comes across, chooses the ones she thinks that already have their destined characters. Ever since she was a kid, the self-taught artist used to love collecting stones. She started her stone paintings back in 2011 when, while walking along a river bank, Akie encountered a particular pebble that looked like a rabbit.
You can find more of Akie’s beautiful artwork on Instagram, and if you are lucky enough, you might get the chance to own one of her incredible pieces as soon as she announces their availability on Facebook.
Quit lying Doris! The whole USA culture floats on lies and you are just adding fuel to an ugly fire.
