People around the world usually associate Cherry blossoms with Japanese spring. However, China's blooms are so extraordinary; they might become the country's national symbol as well. An ocean of colorful blossoms has just flooded China, and it will probably stay vibrant through April.
Residents and tourists from all around the world are flocking to the plenty different sites to admire spring's gorgeous floral children. At Kunming Zoo in Yunnan Province, for instance, the 19th Cherry Blossom Festival started on 7 March 2018 and lasted until the 7th of April. It features more than 5,000 flowering cherry and crab-apple trees. This year's Shanghai Cherry Blossom Festival is running from 16 March to 15 April in Gucun Park, demonstrating over 12,000 cherry blossom trees of 82 varieties.
