Brazilian artist Crislane Passos has been illustrating comics about Max and Julia, "a couple hopelessly in love with each other." Their differences are what Passos believes makes the series so appealing!
Crislane came up with this imaginary couple some years ago when writing a novel. He fell in love with the two characters so much that he couldn't let them go even when he finished the book. He devoted himself entirely to Max and Julia's relationship, often producing illustrations about their chaotic everyday life. You cannot help but admire the way they are holding on to romance, as well. Also, did I mention the couple owns a dog?
