15 Beautiful Illustrations Of Popular Cartoons And Comic Characters In Old Age

Even though the years go fast for all of us, it is very uncommon to see the natural process of aging in cartoons and comics. Have you ever wondered what it would be like if our favorite characters and superheroes grew old and retired, like every mortal person in the world?

Lesya Guseva, a Perm-based Russian artist, made it easier for us to imagine that scenario. She created a series of illustrations named “Pensioners,” portraying some of our favorite Disney, Marvel, and DC characters finally taking their well-deserved rest and enjoying their lives as older people.
