106-year-old Jack Reynolds, a great-great-grandfather, has recently broken the Guinness World Record for being the oldest person to ride a zip line. Reynolds broke the record while celebrating his 106th birthday.
Jack Reynolds has made a habit of doing exciting things for his birthdays and, in the process, he's ended up in the Guinness Book Of World Records. He is on record as being the oldest person to get a tattoo as well, which happened on his 104th birthday. Finally, he is the oldest person to ride a rollercoaster on his 105th.
Reynolds took the publicity surrounding the event as a chance to raise money for various charities.
His daughter Jayne told Metro, “ He decided to use his age to earn money for charity, that’s his core motive, simultaneously, he is getting a lot of fun out of it. It has become a pastime that on his birthday that he uses his new age to help raise money for worthy charities.”
