Back in 2016, Shawn Coss created beautiful dark art interpretations of mental illness disorders for Inktober to start an unconventional conversation.

In the past two years, mental health has become more openly talked about, but many people who suffer from mental illnesses are still considered "crazy" or "mental." And as long as the stigma remains, the artist will keep creating works that continue that conversation.
