Polish Photographer Traveled All Over India And Captured The Incredible Beauty Of The Local People

Meeting people from different backgrounds and realizing that you're different and, yet, the same can broaden your horizons. Most of us, though, can't travel to all the corners of the world. Still, just because we can't shake hands with a person from a distant place does not mean we cannot get introduced to them as well. Enter photographer Magdalena Bagrianow.

This UK-based Polish photographer traveled to India with a camera in her hand and captured quite a few portraits of the locals. And they are so powerful, you can almost feel the feelings the subjects were going through at the time. Lots of the shots were taken in their usual surroundings as well, only strengthening the sense of sincerity.

Even though India's population growth has been steadily decreasing since the early 1990s, the country still ranks as the world's second most inhabited. The 1.3 billion people who live there equate to about 17.5 percent of the total world population.
