Music was a great source of unity in Yugoslavia, with people enjoying genres from heavy metal to folk and disco performed by artists from a variety of ethnic and religious backgrounds. Croats, Slovenes, Serbs, Bosnians, people of North Macedonia, and Montenegrins shared the stage to create beautiful music, alongside soulful Albanian and Roma artists that brought even more exotic and extraordinary sounds.
