19-year old Jessica Sharman lost her memory after some major seizures. Despite this, she found herself inexplicably drawn towards her boyfriend that was just a stranger to her now. Diagnosed with Frontal Lobe Epilepsy in 2010, Jessica suffered a major seizure when she was traveling with her boyfriend, Richard. Post-seizure, she lost her memory, and her seven-month-old relationship looked like it was over.
But not for Richard! To help her recover as well as to prevent their relationship from sinking, he swung into action and gave her his support. He never backed down!
To make matters worse, she seemed to even have forgotten her family and her parents Gary and Lisa were almost devastated by it. Jessica recollects how afraid she was of everybody around her and how she felt like a stranger amongst other strangers. She didn’t remember her name which added to her misery.
But, akin to a movie, she actually remembered one scene that occurred while boarding a train.
Though she never truly expanded upon that scene, it seems that it involved somebody special. Somebody, who may be a stranger to her now, but was incredibly special at that point in time. While it was naturally tough for Jessica to be accepting of strangers around her, she did find Richard to be irresistible, that can be attached to their history. They say that history repeats itself.
