There's a reason why a dog is perceived as a man's best friend. Sometimes they are fun, goofy, and mischievous while, other times, they can be caring, intelligent, and understanding. They are the best boys (and girls!), and many people would argue that they're the best pets out there.
No matter the number of positive aspects dogs as a species have, there's one unfortunate downside. They don't live forever. They age, get sick, and slow down. But even if they are getting old and their fur is turning grey, they play, love and enjoy life as much as they did when they used to be puppies. Even if most people say that little baby dogs are when they are the most adorable, we would like to argue that senior dogs are just as cute. Who would disagree?
