An anonymous shopper spent thousands of dollars on electrical generators to benefit Hurricane victims in the Bahamas.
The man was captured by Alec Sprague at a Costco store in Jacksonville, Florida.
Sprague had been buying a generator of his own when he learned his fellow shopper was buying 100 generators for $450 apiece so that he could send them to Bahamian communities affected by the devastating storm.
The mysterious shopper also bought a variety of different meals and foodstuffs that will be shipped to the islands along with the generators. In total, he spent $49,285.
The goods are set to be shipped by boat through the Errol Thurston Bahamas Hurricane Relief Fund.
Although the man asked news reporters to withhold his name, Sprague snapped a picture of the unidentified benefactor and published it to Facebook. In only 24 hours, the post has been shared over 34,000 times.
