Climate activist Greta Thunberg is making headlines once again. The 16-year-old activist accused world leaders of failing her generation and did so with a powerful speech at the UN Climate Action Summit.
Thunberg noted that the science behind climate change has been “crystal clear” for over 30 years, and yet the planet’s most powerful people have failed to take meaningful action.
Donald Trump seems to have noticed it, tweeting a video of an emotional Thunberg with an ironic comment: “She seems like a very happy young girl looking forward to a bright and wonderful future. So nice to see!”

Greta responded indirectly, embracing the title by adding it to her Twitter profile. Now it reads: “A very happy young girl looking forward to a bright and wonderful future.”

Thunberg started the global School Strike movement with her weekly Friday school strikes in Sweden. She has recently been in New York for the climate summit and briefly crossed paths with Donald Trump at the event as he arrived at a meeting on religious freedom.
