Newlyweds John and Phyllis Cook are now celebrating their new lives together at their Ohio senior living facility.
John is a 100-year-old World War II veteran, and Phyllis turned 103 on August 8th, 2019.
Longevity runs in Phyllis Cook's family; her mom lived to be 106.
The pair went to the courthouse to get their marriage license and found out that they could get married on the spot.
It was not a rash decision: They had been dating for about a year before they tied the knot.
Both Cooks have lost two spouses in the past and feel really lucky to have found love a third time.
They spend their days together enjoying delicious meals, sitting in the sun, and zipping down the halls of the Kingston Residence of Sylvania on their mobility scooters. Yet, they also give each other space.
The pair intends to keep busy and enjoy their time together.
