The world is cruel and sad, but acts of kindness are always appreciated and can restore our faith in humanity, especially when they come from young people.
Shocked by the impact of the Australian bushfires, a group of teens has decided to help by saving as many Koala bears as humanly possible.
19-year-old Micah and 18-year-old Caleb are among those heroes, and they are being praised all over the net. The two cousins drove around Kangaroo Island, rescuing koalas and putting them in their car.
The teens plan to take care of the koalas until the animals are healthy enough to be released back into the wild.
According to Micah and Caleb, around 60 percent of all the koalas they came across had, unfortunately, burned to death.
