A woman left her back door open while she was in the yard, battering down the hatches amid an oncoming storm. The woman, Amscolie, was searching for several baby deer she had been watching over but couldn't find them in the yard. Going back into her house, she was surprised to see the three baby deer resting quietly in her living room beside the couch.
Amscolie's home is situated near the woods. If you live around any wooded area, then you already know that in such places, it is common to have frequent run-ins with deer.
According to AccuWeather, animals are known to have superior weather-detecting capabilities — far better than humans. For instance, they can sense changes in the air pressure or pick up sound frequencies that humans can’t hear.
Amscolie thinks that the three baby deer instinctively ran inside the open back door looking for a dry place to sleep. So she decided to lend them a helping hand.
Fortunately, the three little heroes rode out the storm.
Well, that was a lovely surprise, wasn't it?
