In an effort to contain the coronavirus pandemic, we have seen a number of strange things occurring around the world. As more and more people in several countries are being advised from their governments to stay indoors and self-quarantine, we are observing the creative ways in which people are managing to carry out their necessary day-to-day activities.
In one of those cases, Vakis Dimitriou, a young man from Cyprus, has found a way to walk his dog without even leaving the house! Resourcefully deploying the aerial means he has access to, Vakis effectively manages to walk his dog safely while keeping himself on lockdown at the same time.
On Wednesday, Vakis shared a hilarious video on Facebook in which he shows us his dog being taken out for a walk by a drone, which Vakis guides from his balcony. The video's caption is:
"Day 5 of quarantine. Stay home safe, but don't forget your dog's happiness."
The dog himself appears to be pleased with the arrangement as he strolls through Limassol's empty streets. Limassol is located on the southeastern coast of Cyprus.
Cyprus has a total of 75 confirmed coronavirus cases to date, with a further 33 confirmed cases in the country's Turkish occupied zone.
