People with a strong personality often appear to others as very assertive, domineering and strict. They tend to overprocess information, thoughts and ideas, and are often thought of as 'control freaks.' Because of their structured thinking and continuous analysis of data, strong-minded people also often display an inclination for organizing and planning. Below we see six of their personality characteristics:
1. They are curious, open to discussion, and enjoy analyzing the information they are presented with before evaluating an argument
2. They get very much annoyed by ignorance and arrogance and are not afraid to admit when they do not know something. Ignorance and conceit annoy them because they are always well informed themselves before stating that they know something and are very careful before forming a particular opinion.
3. They are selective with their friends and close acquaintances and they usually choose people who they appreciate and respect to include in their life. For this reason, sometimes they might come across as being snobbish, rude, non-social or introverted.
4. They tend to be particularly skilled at solving problems and experience bouts of imagination when trying to find solutions.
5. They dislike excuses and appreciate assertiveness and honesty.
6. They have true leading skills in the sense that they are intuitive, critical thinking and able to identify the skills and talents of others as well as their weaknesses.
