One overlooked issue during the global lockdown has been the pets of essential workers. While lots of people are now at home and have even more time to spend with their pooches than ever before, many others have been left at a loose end. This is because many workers were formerly putting their pets with animal daycares and dog walkers.
However, for many essential workers this is no longer an option as many of these services have shut down to maintain the quarantine and keep social distance.
One FedEx driver, Daniel Nava, who has been working throughout the ongoing crisis, has come up with a solution. After all, without FedEx and other delivery drivers in action many of us would be without essential deliveries. His two little dogs, Dachshunds Chorizo and Cocoa have been accompanying him as he makes his daily deliveries.

They are now volunteer delivery helpers and have even been given little dog FedEx uniforms, just so everyone knows they are definitely official workers! It can be imagined that many people are delighted to see the little guys turn up and deliver their parcels and they sure do brighten up people’s days.

Thankfully they do have a little prior work experience. Last Christmas, adorned with Santa outfits, they helped Daniel deliver festive packages. Just look at them!
