Police in New York have arrested a 31 year-old man for a sickening unprovoked attack on a 92 year-old woman that occurred last month. The horrendous incident was caught on video and showed the man walking along the street and pushing the elderly woman, who was walking past him, to the ground. As she fell, she hit her head on a fire hydrant causing her to suffer severe injuries that could have even killed her.
This callous crime didn’t merit coverage on the big networks. Why? Violent racism? Who are his role models? https://t.co/Yipg6TQrig

The man walked on as if nothing had happened. As of yet, the authorities have absolutely no ideas as to what caused the man to behave in such a way.
The woman, who did not want to give her name, fearing for reprisal attacks from others, said:
"I can't believe that someone would do this. Oh, he did look back. He did look back to see me fall on the floor, that rat!"
The elderly woman says she will not walk the streets alone now and that she constantly fears for her safety. When showing her injuries to news channel host Jenna DeAngelis on CBS2 she added:
"He hit me on the left – ow – that hurts to touch it. [My arm] was all bloody. With my visor on and my face mask, he barely saw who I was. He just saw an elderly lady walking slowly and he decided I'm perfect for a victim. I'm not going to walk on the street alone right now, absolutely not."
The suspect has been identified as Rashid Brimmage, 31, from Harlem, New York. He is a registered sex offender and has been arrested on 65 previous occasions for crimes such as assault and sexual harassment. He is even expected to appear in court next month on charges dating from earlier in 2020.
It is hoped that the judge will throw the book at the animal and keep him off the streets for a long-time to come with an extremely long prison sentence. Why someone would act this way towards another person, especially one so old and frail, is a complete mystery.
