Unsealed court documents from a civil trial in 2017 reveal that Bill Clinton was seen on Jeffrey Epstein's island with two young girls and that Epstein said to one victim that Clinton owed him favours. The court documents also reveal that two young girls were forced to have sex with Prince Andrew.
The documents are related to Ghislaine Maxwell, who is currently awaiting trial on sex crimes related to the Epstein exploitation ring. Maxwell had fought to keep the documents sealed but a judge in New York recently ordered that they be made public.
The documents relate to a 2017 civil trial between a victim of Epstein, Virginia Giuffre, and Maxwell herself. Up to this point all that is known about the civil trial is that Maxwell was forced to pay Giuffre a substantial undisclosed amount of money in compensation. Giuffre has been an unspoken opponent of Epstein and Maxwell since she went public with her accusations 10 years ago in 2010.
While the documents do not say that Giuffre saw Clinton engaging in any sexual activity, she did say he was seen with the young girls on Epstein's island. According to Newsweek, the statement in the documents also includes the accusation that Clinton owed Epstein favours. It said:
"He would laugh it off. You know, I remember asking Jeffrey what's Bill Clinton doing here [on Epstein's island] kind of thing, and he laughed it off and said well he owes me favours. He never told me what favours they were. I never knew. I didn't know if he was serious. It was just a joke… He told me a long time ago that everyone owes him favours. They're all in each other's pockets."
The Clinton Foundation has denied that there was any wrongdoing on the part of Bill Clinton and that he had only been on Epstein's private jet 4 times, however recently discovered flight logs show that he took at least 11 flights. It also shows that Clinton continued to have interaction with Epstein even though he was a convicted sex offender. He was convicted of soliciting an underage prostitute in 2008. The Foundation released a statement saying:
"Staff, supporters of the Foundation, and his Secret Service detail travelled on every trip. He's not spoken to Epstein in well over a decade, and has never been to Little St. James Island, Epstein's ranch in New Mexico, or his residence in Florida."
The US court documents also revealed that Prince Andrew, the son of Queen Elizabeth II, who had a long close relationship with Epstein, even after his conviction, had sex with two underage girls that Epstein forced to have sex with him. He has since resigned his royal duties in light of the allegations.
It is suggested that Epstein planned to use Prince Andrew's relationships with the girls as a tool for blackmail.
Epstein allegedly killed himself in prison in 2019 while awaiting trial for sex-crimes; however, some have claimed he was murdered to stop him speaking out about the high profile people he was involved with. It is also feared that Maxwell's life could be in danger as she may exchange information on the rich and powerful in order to obtain a lesser sentence.
