Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson has revealed that his entire family have been infected with CoVid-19 but that they are all now thankfully moving towards better health. The WWE wrestler and later Hollywood mega-star, who has appeared in movies such as Baywatch, Walking Tall and the Fast & The Furious franchise, announced the diagnosis in a video. He took the opportunity to warn others to be very careful and to follow all the recommended public safety advice.
The 48-year-old, who looked well in the video, said his wife Lauren Hashian, 35, and their two daughters, Jasmine, 4, and Tiana, 2, had all received positive tests.

He said in the video, posted on his Instagram:
Testing positive for COVID-19 is a lot different than recovering from nasty injuries, getting evicted or being broke, which I've been more than a few times. My No. 1 priority is to always protect my family and my loved ones... I wish it was only me that tested positive. It was my entire family and it was a kick in the gut. We in a family are good, we're on the other end of it and no longer contagious. Thank God, we're healthy. We are counting our blessings right now. We are well aware you don't always get to the other end of COVID-19 stronger and healthier. I have had some of my best friends lose their parents to this virus that is so incredibly relentless and unforgiving. We are counting our blessings, but we are good.
He also urged caution and that no one should let their guard down:
If you guys are having family and friends over to your house, you know them, you trust them. They can be quarantining just like you guys. You still never know. You never know. Don't let your guard down, boosts your immunity with antioxidants, vitamins, things of that nature.
The Rock hopes that his words will go some way to stopping the spread of the virus that has now infected over 6 million in the United States alone and killed over 180,000. The real number of infections is believed to be vastly higher than the 6 million confirmed cases.
Johnson is currently the officially highest paid actor in Hollywood, earning $87.5 million last year according to Forbes. He has an 18-year-old daughter from a previous marriage.
