Jaden Smith, singer and son of actor Will Smith, has opened a new restaurant designed to help feed homeless people in Los Angeles.
Smith unveiled the project to Variety magazine and said that the restaurant will charge slightly higher than normal prices but that any person who can't pay will be able to have their meals free or for a discounted price.
The 22-year-old has already been helping the homeless in LA already via his 'I Love You' food truck for over 2 years.
Jaden said:
"It's for homeless people to get free food. But if you're not homeless, not only do you have to pay, but you have to pay for more than the food's worth so that you can pay for the person behind you."
Both the restaurant and food truck specialise in vegan food.
Jaden has also been involved in a number of projects to help those in need. Including water projects in Flint, Michigan, after it was revealed that local people were being poisoned by the local water supply. His water-box creation has meant that thousands of families now get clean filtered water.
Jaden's father also made headlines this week after pictures he online went viral. One story shows him wearing underpants and revealing a body that was in somewhat worse shape than we are used to seeing.
The 52-year-old actor said:
"This is the body that carried me through an entire pandemic and countless days grazing thru the pantry. I love this body, but I wanna FEEL better. No more midnight muffins…this is it! 'Imma get in the BEST SHAPE OF MY LIFE!!!!!"

Jaden said of his father's new lockdown appearance:
"We joke around with him in the family. It wasn't really a surprise to us. We've seen him evolve into that."
The Smith family is now one of the most influential in all of Hollywood. Will Smith jumped onto the scene when he landed the lead role in The Fresh Prince of Bel Air in the 1990s. He also had a successful music career alongside fellow Fresh Prince star DJ Jazzy Jeff.
