A man in the UK has surprised his girlfriend with a proposal to marry him written on the sand of Barra Airport in Scotland.
The 26-year-old, Jamie Forde, had asked the staff to help him have the message ready for 25-year-old, Anna Pond, upon her flight arrival from Glasgow on Saturday.
Anna noticed the message while the Loganair aircraft was approaching the beach runaway.
Jamie said that:
"Anna turned to me and said 'what?' Once she realised it was for her she said 'yes'."

Jamie and Anna, who are from Yorkshire, were taking a break to visit the Western Isles.
Being an aviation fan, Forde always wanted the opportunity to fly to Barra's beach runaway, which is often included in lists of the world's most scenic airports.
Speaking of the marriage proposal arrangements, he said:
"I hadn't expected the airport to agree to it, but they did and even did test flights using a drone to make sure the message was in the right place for Anna to see. We got a round of applause from the rest of those on the flight when they realised what was happening."

As soon as news of the proposal was circulated, the couple started receiving gifts from locals, including a restaurant and a taxi driver.
Jamie noted that everyone contributed to a great extent to assist him in the implementation of his plan, including both the airline and the airport, as well as, people living on the island.
