A bartender in St. Petersburg, Florida is being hailed a 'hero' on Twitter following a post by a girl who he saved from being harassed.
Trinity Allie, who was out with a friend, revealed that she was feeling uncomfortable by a man's actions at the bar.
She shared an image which showed bartender, Max Gutierrez passing her a clipboard that looked like it carried a receipt.
Gutierrez had made a discrete note on the clipboard, effectively warning her about a suspicious man nearby. The note indicated what Allie should do in case she wished the man to be removed.
The note read:
"If this guy is bothering you, put your ponytail on your other shoulder, and I will have him removed. He's giving ME the CREEPS."
The image has received well over 200,000 likes since its been posted with many comment praising the actions of the bartender for helping the women.
Allie captioned the image: 'This man was harassing me and my friend and the bartender passed this note to me acting like it was my receipt! Legit the type of bartender everyone needs.'

In a subsequent post, she explained how Gutierrez eventually got the customer to leave.
She wrote:
'He ended up having to literally yell at the guy he said "you need to get [the f***] away from these girls who clearly are not interested". And the dude said "that was a little aggressive" and he said "well you're aggressively hitting on them and you need to leave".'
Many were quick to praise the actions of the bartender for looking out for the two women and keeping them safe.
One said: 'We need more men like him protecting us', while another added: 'Not all heroes wear capes. Some wear Hawaiian shirts.'
In another post, Allie shared Gutierrez's reaction saying that shouting at the customer eventually made him go, even though he doesn't like doing that to people.
Gutierrez wrote:
"It's something you just pick up from mentor bartenders. Eventually you become pretty good at reading people, body language etc. This guy was giving off very weird vibes for quite a while, kept an eye on him, try to give him a chance, try to let the girl tell him no and leave it at that. But he didn't take no for an answer and kept pestering them so eventually I kind of yelled at him and made him leave lol. I honestly don't like yelling at customers or embarrassing people, but I find it's one of the best ways to handle creeps. Calling them out in front of people is usually enough to get them to turn tail and walk away. I just don't need my guests feeling uncomfortable."
