Eagle-eyed viewers who were watching the inside of the SpaceX civilian flight Inspiration4 have noticed that one of the astronauts was watching the 1987 Mel Brooks film 'Spaceballs' shortly before landing.
One Twitter user snapped the image and tweeted Elon Musk who owns the SpaceX company.
His tweet said:
"Chris Sembroski is watching SPACE BALLS while getting ready for splashdown @ChrisSembroski I think @elonmusk would approve"

Elon Musk responded saying it was one of his favourite films.
The Inspiration4 made a safe landing after spending 3 days in space. It was the first flight in human history that did not have a professionally trained astronaut onboard and was carried out by the SpaceX team. SpaceX is owned and run by Tesla founder Elon Musk.
During the space adventure, the four crew members were almost 400 miles from Earth, the furthest distance any human being had been from Earth since Apollo's last mission to the Moon in 1972. The craft orbited Earth every 90 minutes and provided amazing views of the blue planet. Those of us on Earth could follow all the action from inside the spacecraft via a live online stream.
Nothing but #gratitude!! Thank you to everyone who helped make our mission a success and supported us through this historic journey. 😊👩🏾🚀🚀🌏🐉@inspiration4x @SpaceX #Space2inspire https://t.co/W0PgPn6fpu

On landing, lead crew member Jared Isaacman said:
"Thanks so much, SpaceX. It was a heck of a ride for us ... just getting started."
Many believe that this flight is just the start of what could become a huge new space tourism sector, in which wealthy individuals can take short flights into space. Musk's fellow billionaires Jeff Bezos and Richard Branson also have their own space programs and have both themselves gone into space within the last few months.
While many see the idea of space tourism as exciting and innovative, others have criticised the huge amount of money spent at a time when so many suffer in hunger and need. This one SpaceX civilian flight is believed to have cost $200 million alone, while Bezos spent billions on being just a few minutes in space.
