YouTuber and boxer, Jake Paul says he will donate $10 million to the UN World Food Programme to help eliminate world hunger if Elon Musk also donated $6 billion.
Sharing his pledge on Twitter, Paul added that he would only keep his promise if his tweet received 690,000 retweets.
Paul's offer came following a Twitter spat between UN's World Food Programme director, David Beasley and Elon Musk. The spat occured after a CNN story got published in which Beasley claimed that world hunger would be eliminated if only a few ultra-rich people donated a fraction of their wealth.
Beasly has said in the interview:
"$6 billion to help 42 million people that are literally going to die if we don't reach them. It's not complicated."
Musk tweeted in response:
"If WFP can describe on this Twitter thread exactly how $6B will solve world hunger, I will sell Tesla stock right now and do it."
Beasley then admitted that the headline was somehow inaccurate and said that the funds would assist in preventing "geopolitical instability, mass migration, and save 42 million people on the brink of starvation".
.@elonmusk With your help we can bring hope, build stability and change the future.

Let’s talk: It isn’t as complicated as Falcon Heavy, but too much at stake to not at least have a conversation. I can be on the next flight to you. Throw me out if you don’t like what you hear!
Musk persisted and asked for evidence of the WFP's spending if they were to secure the funds. He said:
"Please publish your current & proposed spending in detail so people can see exactly where money goes. Sunlight is a wonderful thing."
Soon after the Twitter spat went viral, on November the 1st, Paul tweeted:
"Yo @elonmusk if you donate $6 billion to the UN to end world hunger I'll also donate $10 million if this gets 690k retweets"
