A man in northern Italy wore a silicone arm before going in to receive the CoViD-19 vaccine.
The 50-year-old from the city of Biella, caused a sensation in the coutry following his creative efforts to avoid being vaccinated.
To camouflage his real arm, the man had placed a fake forearm made of silicone on his shoulder and tried to hide his real arm behind his back.
However, upon preparing the injection, the nurse noticed that the arm was of a different skin colour and that it had a silicone texture.
The aim of the man was to receive the CoViD-19 vaccination certificate while avoiding being really vaccinated.
The President of the Piedmont region, which includes the city of Biella, Alberto Cirio, noted:
"If it were not tragic, it would be comical. But in the situation we are living in, with the loss of life, with so much financial hardship, it is really an unacceptable act."
The 50-year-old now faces criminal charges and has been referred to the justice system in Italy.
